The kits feature everything needed to construct all copper still and come with online access to a "How to Make a Still" video series that shows you how to build a still, step by step. If you've ever had a hankerin' to build a copper still but weren't sure how to do it, we've got you covered.
You don't need to be an expert welder or blacksmith or anything like that to put a moonshine kit together. Everything you need to know about how to make a copper still will be explained and illustrated in the video.
You also don't need to have expensive specialty tools. The only tools required will be a hammer, a plumbing torch or an electronic soldering iron, locking pliers, sandpaper, a small work table, and a solid metal surface to hammer against (an anvil, a vice, a sledge hammer, a steel dolly, etc...). These are pretty common tools and any half decent tool collection will include most of this stuff already. If you don't have these tools already, no need to worry. Everything on this list can be acquired at Home Depot for a reasonable price.
Although these types of small copper stills are commonly called "moonshine" stills, be aware: distilling alcohol is illegal without a federal fuel alcohol or distilled spirit plant permit as well as relevant state permits. Our distillation equipment is designed for legal uses only and the information on this site is for educational purposes only.
Our stills can be used to make distilled water and essential oils without any federal permits. Our stills can also make fuel alcohol as long as one has a federal fuel alcohol permit and any relevant state permits.
