Stir Plate Kit - 2000 mL

Honestly, it was a little smaller than I thought it was once I opened it but it's awesome. This little guy is powerful and works like a dream.

Great little kit!

Works well- it’s my first stir plate but I think the magnet stays in place well. I keep it all in the original shipping package between uses and that has worked to keep everything together (plug, unit and stir bar). For the money - I think I have easily gotten my ROI in the past couple of years by salvaging yeast for next brew day. Yeast can be one of those ‘hidden’ expenses- nice to avoid unless I want to splurge on something different or unusual.

This stir plate works just as it should work. No issues.

This stir plate kit has all the bits I needed to get my yeast starter going. I've now used it 3 times and it really helps to give my yeast a leg up when starting fermentation. And I wouldn't say it's loud by any measure, but it does drive my wife crazy having to hear it in the kitchen for 24 to 48 hours.
